The Amazon Basin tree boa has a yellow belly. The dorsal is dark green with a white vertebral stripe, which has partial crossbars that widen into almost triangle shapes further down the body and often bordered by some black spots. Also, Corallus batesii is bigger than Corallus caninus, growing to a total length (including tail) approaching 9 feet (2.7 m).
